This made me laugh. I write a (not always complimentary) blog about Norfolk Island in the South Pacific and I was googling to make sure that 'Norfolking Idea' didn't come up in the immediate list of links when looking for 'Norfolk'. hey! i agree with u.. the packing on the articles inside the market is indeed a complete waste..i wonder if these people even know that burning of plastic could result in the release of poisonous toxins which are cancerous. Real sad that we care to protect veggies instead of human lives..

I agree, particularly with the paradox that you point out about the fact a plastic bag is actually useful, yet the wasteful packaging on actual goods is not, and they decide to tax plastic bags. It's the same as the ridiculous cardboard packasging on things, for example, yoghurt cartons, they are stuck together anyway, but somehow cardboard must be more…
